        I don't have too much to offer you because I have been so busy lately but one thing is clear; the George Orwellian Ministry of Truth that is the Neo-Con propaganda machine is now screeching and grinding after having spun away at top speed, red-lining, oiled by stolen, blood-soaked oil, for so long.

        All the pseudo-wanna-be-spokes-tools and spin-master-monkey-boys spewing their hate speech with ever desperate and alarming frequency whilst attempting to shift the blame for their utter failure as they cling like the rats they are to the stinking, rotting, sinking carcass that is the Bush mis-Administration as it begins its journey to the black and lifelss hell-like depths of the sea of lies and terror and horror that it has wrought on you and I and the universe at large.

        They are in high gear as their insane visions of endless power, guaranteed by endless terror and war is starting to unravel before their very, Godless, hate filled, and unseeing, eyes.

        Bush says Iraq will be a comma in history as dreams of WWIII cloud his ever slipping reason, Bin Laden's possible death becomes page 666 news for he must not die if they are to be able to use him to maintain their terror hold, and all of this and more, along with official intelligence findings that say what we all, already know, is buried by a treacherous smear campaign against a former President who actually made the world safer.

        We have not been made safe by Bush and the Cons. We have been set up and sold down river. Many of us knew that from the beginning. Now others are beginning to see the light. 

      For the fact is becoming clear that their strength lies in our terror. Like a malignant cancerous sickness feeding on hate and fear, our terror feeds their power, but like any organism trying to fight for its very existence and desperately clinging to the beauty that is the gift of life, we are beginning to reject the evil that has all but destroyed what was once the  realizable dream of a free, prosperous, and most importantly, peaceful world...

        Any good detective will tell you, if you want to find out who committed a crime, a good place to start would be to look for who may have profitted. Along with motive, opportunity and a mountain of evidence, in the crime aganst humanity that was 9-11, Bush Co, at least for me, is the prime suspect. But then again, who am I? Remember 9-11 indeed!

I think it’s safe to say the last two weeks have been less than kind when it comes to conservatives and race relations.

Sen. George Allen’s (R-Va.) "macaca" scandal.

Sen. Conrad Burns (R-Mont.) joked about how a "nice little Guatemalan man" fixing up his house might be an illegal immigrant.

A leading congressional candidate in Florida said he knows, "from my own experience, that blacks are not the greatest swimmers, and may not even know how to swim."

Two congressional candidates and a gubernatorial candidate believe people who "appear" to be Arab or Muslim should be subjected to racial profiling at airports.

Pat Buchanan’s new book argues for "an immediate moratorium on all immigration," in order to preserve the dominance of the white race in America.

And in one you may not have heard about, a Baptist church in Mississippi voted out a 12-year-old boy who "asked Jesus to live in his heart" — because the child is biracial and church members didn’t want the black side of his family attending with him.

And these are just from the last two weeks.

        The Nazi movement, made famous by Adolf Hitler in the late 1920's and 1930's, strived to create a master race that would dominate Europe. As a result of several events, World War II was fought between the Axis and the Allies.
Note: not to be confused with 'Axis of Evil'
        The republican political movement in America also strives to create a 'master race' of white supremacists, and therefore draws a unique parallel with the Nazi movement in the 1930's.
        Similarly, the economic policies of the two regimes are strikingly similar, with both leaders (George W. Bush and Adolf Hitler) both believing in spending money over fiscal responsibility (often to distract citizens from other events). Evidence of this can be seen in the CIA world factbook - which puts the US as the 39th most debt ridden country (in terms of GDP as a % of public debt). Although this may not sound amazing, this puts countries such as Mexico, Libya, Iran, China, Zimbabwe and Russia all with lower levels of public debt than America.
In Nazi Germany before WWII, there were also high levels of public debt, which many historians will argue was the cause for the invasion of the Low Countries after the conflict started. In America today, wars against less developed countries are also being used for financial gain, e.g.: the Iraq war.
        Both believe in the right of a citizen to posess a firearm and to sacrifice certain freedoms for the benefit of the state. This overriding belief in the supremacy of one individual above another (could also be the belief in one nation over another) is called racism and can be seen openly in both republican politicians and in the former Nazi regime. A good example of this would be the lack of black or hispanic presidents in America, even though the latter comprise almost 40% of the male population.

"Crusade" Continues in Iraq 134/Rumsfeld Comment Points to Why

        Rumsfeld, the real brains behind the entire terror era, may have inadvertently answered the question that has been burning in our minds since it all started. Why are we in Iraq? He stated that the media and the world have been duped into believing we are engaged in a"...crusade against Islam” I for one have never heard that one nor seen evidence backing his claims that terrorists are manipulating the media and he himself offered no examples. I guess according to that rhetoric this site is also secretly controlled by the "terrorists" whom I would gladly whack given the chance.

        He also uses some very interesting logic, paraphrasing: "The terrorists keep killing civilians because we are there and would stop if we left, so we must stay so that we can stop them from killing. Seems Rumsfeld has gone insane while hiding in his bunker waiting for the Armageddon he has so tried to unleash on us all.

        What else can we expect when they are in an intense propaganda campaign before the November elections to hold on to their ill gotten power. The only people currently manipulating the US media are the Neo-Cons and their use of fear and terror to maintain power makes them nothing more than terrorists themselves and begs the question.         I have been following the case of Mike Smith and have obtained some new documents on his trial that implicate an American who was working for the KGB and English Intelligence, and shed more light as to the bias of the prosecution in what appears to be the fabrication of the case against him. The following documents sent to me by Mr. X for publication make interesting reading for anyone interested in the world of spies and I encourage anyone who is able to, to publish them and share them in order to help Mr. Smith whose life has wrongfully been destroyed as a result of the case made against him. The first file has SECRET stamped all over it with several pages marked TOP SECRET as well. It is lightly redacted with several annotations as to the redactions by Mr. X..

Anonymous sent me a document on Mike Smith's case.

Hi John,
        Here is the document that has an important place in Mr.Smith's legal case. It shows how the judge decided which evidence would be admissible at the trial, and it reveals how the end result of a trial can be determined by the decisions at these pre-trial hearings. The main point that emerges is how the judge firmly comes down on the side of the prosecution, and he allows in a lot of highly prejudicial evidence - evidence which at best could only be described as speculative. It is apparent from the way these legal arguments developed that both the judge and the prosecution were following the directions of MI5, because the evidence which was ruled admissible followed the story that MI5 had focused on.
        The effect of the judge's rulings was to ensure that there was a strong bias in the trial towards the prosecution case, and this caused the defence team problems because most of the evidence was circumstantial. This imbalance in the trial towards the prosecution also placed pressure on the jury to convict, which is what they did.
        Reading through the arguments the prosecution presented to the judge, it can be seen that there was little or no evidence to support the link to Viktor Oshchenko, which was the crux of the prosecution case. All the defence objections were dismissed by judge Blofeld, who allowed the prosecution to run a case based on assertions for which no evidence existed. Even the MI5 witness Stella Rimington made it clear at the trial: there was no evidence of a link between Oshchenko and Smith.
        The judge can be seen to play down the significance of Smith's holiday in Portugal in 1977, as though this was a side issue. However, this was done to disguise the fact that Portugal was indeed to become the main argument made to connect Smith to KGB tradecraft. It was an innocent tourist map from this holiday that enabled the prosecution to call evidence from a US citizen, referred to as Mr E. Mr E was recruited by Oshchenko in December 1978, while he worked as a salesman in a Hi-Fi shop in Tottenham Court Road, London. Mr E was run by two KGB controllers: Viktor Oshchenko and Yuriy Gennadyevich Pokrovskiy (who was later expelled from Britain).
        Mr E was born in Yorkshire (England) and he was groomed by Oshchenko due to his background in the US Navy and his electronics expertise, he left as a Petty Officer (electronics technician (radar) III class). The KGB were also interested in Mr E's relatives: his father was a retired US Army 0-6, his mother an English nurse, and his father-in-law worked with one of the US House of Representatives subcommittees. The prosecution went to great lengths to conceal the identity of Mr E, and to present him as some kind of friend of the US and British Security Services, but in actual fact it was clear from the evidence that Mr E had accepted significant amounts of money from the KGB, equivalent to the monthly mortgage payments on his home, and he allowed himself to be groomed as an agent for about 15 months or more.
        While working for the KGB, Mr E attempted to procure some sensitive integrated circuits, which were proscribed to the Russians under COCOM. He also undertook KGB training methods and sought to improve his professional position, so he might gain access to information useful to the Russians. One of Mr E's training mission's was a trip to Lisbon (Portugal) on the weekend of 21/22 July 1979, to deliver a package to a KGB contact.
        A major part of the prosecution argument was that Mr E had behaved in the same way as Smith, but on careful study of the history of the 2 people, this is far from being an honest argument by the prosecution.

Only through pressure from the public can he be assured of the fair trail and the re-opening of his case that he is seeking. Like many hundreds of others who have been unfairly tried and punished on the flimsiest of grounds  by governments eager to persecute anyone for political gain, in particular with regard to Russia, his case deserves, in my opinion, to be heard and his vindication finally brought about.

        SNIPPET Those who remember my case will be aware that in 1992/93 I was portrayed as a major KGB spy, featuring on the front pages of several national newspapers. My name later appeared in the Mitrokhin Archive, as did Melita Norwood - the “Granny Spy” - but unlike her I have been largely ignored by those commentating on the history of espionage in the UK.

Half a lifetime ago, I worked in this now-empty space. And for 40 days after the attacks, I worked here again, trying to make sense of what happened, and was yet to happen, as a reporter.

All the time, I knew that the very air I breathed contained the remains of thousands of people, including four of my friends, two in the planes and - as I discovered from those "missing posters" seared still into my soul - two more in the Towers.

And I knew too, that this was the pyre for hundreds of New York policemen and firemen, of whom my family can claim half a dozen or more, as our ancestors.

I belabor this to emphasize that, for me this was, and is, and always shall be, personal.

And anyone who claims that I and others like me are "soft,"or have "forgotten" the lessons of what happened here is at best a grasping, opportunistic, dilettante and at worst, an idiot whether he is a commentator, or a Vice President, or a President.

However, of all the things those of us who were here five years ago could have forecast - of all the nightmares that unfolded before our eyes, and the others that unfolded only in our minds - none of us could have predicted this.

Five years later this space is still empty.

Five years later there is no memorial to the dead.

Five years later there is no building rising to show with proud defiance that we would not have our America wrung from us, by cowards and criminals.

Five years later this country's wound is still open.

Five years later this country's mass grave is still unmarked.

Five years later this is still just a background for a photo-op.

It is beyond shameful.

At the dedication of the Gettysburg Memorial - barely four months after the last soldier staggered from another Pennsylvania field - Mr. Lincoln said, "we cannot dedicate, we cannot consecrate, we cannot hallow this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract."

Lincoln used those words to immortalize their sacrifice.

Today our leaders could use those same words to rationalize their reprehensible inaction. "We cannot dedicate, we can not consecrate, we can not hallow this ground." So we won't.

Instead they bicker and buck pass. They thwart private efforts, and jostle to claim credit for initiatives that go nowhere. They spend the money on irrelevant wars, and elaborate self-congratulations, and buying off columnists to write how good a job they're doing instead of doing any job at all.

Five years later, Mr. Bush, we are still fighting the terrorists on these streets. And look carefully, sir, on these 16 empty acres. The terrorists are clearly, still winning.

And, in a crime against every victim here and every patriotic sentiment you mouthed but did not enact, you have done nothing about it.

And there is something worse still than this vast gaping hole in this city, and in the fabric of our nation. There is its symbolism of the promise unfulfilled, the urgent oath, reduced to lazy execution.

The only positive on 9/11 and the days and weeks that so slowly and painfully followed it was the unanimous humanity, here, and throughout the country. The government, the President in particular, was given every possible measure of support.

Those who did not belong to his party - tabled that.

Those who doubted the mechanics of his election - ignored that.

Those who wondered of his qualifications - forgot that.

History teaches us that nearly unanimous support of a government cannot be taken away from that government by its critics. It can only be squandered by those who use it not to heal a nation's wounds, but to take political advantage.

Terrorists did not come and steal our newly-regained sense of being American first, and political, fiftieth. Nor did the Democrats. Nor did the media. Nor did the people.

The President - and those around him - did that.

They promised bi-partisanship, and then showed that to them, "bi-partisanship" meant that their party would rule and the rest would have to follow, or be branded, with ever-escalating hysteria, as morally or intellectually confused, as appeasers, as those who, in the Vice President's words yesterday, "validate the strategy of the terrorists."

They promised protection, and then showed that to them "protection" meant going to war against a despot whose hand they had once shaken, a despot who we now learn from our own Senate Intelligence Committee, hated al-Qaida as much as we did.

The polite phrase for how so many of us were duped into supporting a war, on the false premise that it had 'something to do' with 9/11 is "lying by implication."

The impolite phrase is "impeachable offense."

Not once in now five years has this President ever offered to assume responsibility for the failures that led to this empty space, and to this, the current, curdled, version of our beloved country.

Still, there is a last snapping flame from a final candle of respect and fairness: even his most virulent critics have never suggested he alone bears the full brunt of the blame for 9/11.

Half the time, in fact, this President has been so gently treated, that he has seemed not even to be the man most responsible for anything in his own administration.

Yet what is happening this very night?

A mini-series, created, influenced - possibly financed by - the most radical and cold of domestic political Machiavellis, continues to be televised into our homes.

The documented truths of the last fifteen years are replaced by bald-faced lies; the talking points of the current regime parroted; the whole sorry story blurred, by spin, to make the party out of office seem vacillating and impotent, and the party in office, seem like the only option.

How dare you, Mr. President, after taking cynical advantage of the unanimity and love, and transmuting it into fraudulent war and needless death, after monstrously transforming it into fear and suspicion and turning that fear into the campaign slogan of three elections? How dare you - or those around you - ever "spin" 9/11?

Just as the terrorists have succeeded - are still succeeding - as long as there is no memorial and no construction here at Ground Zero.

So, too, have they succeeded, and are still succeeding as long as this government uses 9/11 as a wedge to pit Americans against Americans.

This is an odd point to cite a television program, especially one from March of 1960. But as Disney's continuing sell-out of the truth (and this country) suggests, even television programs can be powerful things.

And long ago, a series called "The Twilight Zone" broadcast a riveting episode entitled "The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street."

In brief: a meteor sparks rumors of an invasion by extra-terrestrials disguised as humans. The electricity goes out. A neighbor pleads for calm. Suddenly his car - and only his car - starts. Someone suggests he must be the alien. Then another man's lights go on. As charges and suspicion and panic overtake the street, guns are inevitably produced. An "alien" is shot - but he turns out to be just another neighbor, returning from going for help. The camera pulls back to a near-by hill, where two extra-terrestrials are seen manipulating a small device that can jam electricity. The veteran tells his novice that there's no need to actually attack, that you just turn off a few of the human machines and then, "they pick the most dangerous enemy they can find, and it's themselves."

And then, in perhaps his finest piece of writing, Rod Serling sums it up with words of remarkable prescience, given where we find ourselves tonight: "The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices, to be found only in the minds of men.

"For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own - for the children, and the children yet unborn."

When those who dissent are told time and time again - as we will be, if not tonight by the President, then tomorrow by his portable public chorus - that he is preserving our freedom, but that if we use any of it, we are somehow un-American ... When we are scolded, that if we merely question, we have "forgotten the lessons of 9/11" ... look into this empty space behind me and the bi-partisanship upon which this administration also did not build, and tell me:

Who has left this hole in the ground?

We have not forgotten, Mr. President.

You have.

May this country forgive you.
